Narooma Lockdown #8:
Excursion to Nowra

We arrived at the Nowra Showground in time for the evening dog walk on the oval. Sadly, Clancy wouldn't mix with any dog so we didn't pick up any local goss.

...but too late for the Wood Chopping.

The War Memorial is Soviet in style.

Robert and Clancy making a point in our B&B - we visited Steve and Meg with a tagine for dinner here. (That's Clancy's bedspread. We always carry it).

Coolangatta winery on the way to Shoalhaven Heads.

Shoalhaven Heads. The others had a walk to look at the birds but Clancy and I had to put up with this dog-friendly alternative.

Brilliant housing for patients at the Cancer Treatment Centre at Shoalhaven hospital. So impressed with our National Health system! Meg and Steve stayed here for four weeks (not weekends) so Steve could have 22 doses of radiotherapy on his eye. Great design - lots of breezeways , commodious suites and good communal areas. Would be fine in a pandemic!

Lunch at the Fishermen's Club Gerroa overlooking 7 Mile beach and Coolangatta Hill. VERY good hamburgers!
