I spent a week in Bogota at a language school and exploring places like the Gold Museum, catching up with Karina Llanos (who’d lived in our attic for a year) and meeting her family. Then Hilary Green arrived and we had two weeks travelling to and staying in Cartagena, Mompox and Medellin.
